Christmas Wreath Workshop
Purple Horizons held another one of their successful Christmas Wreath Workshops on Monday, December 1st at Catworth Village Hall.
All funds raised from our event supported two amazing local charirties. The Red Hen Project in Cambridge and Headway in Bedford.
We are delighted our event raised £1080 for these two worthy causes.
The Red Hen Project is local Cambridge charity who work directly with families in the community to help raise happy, healthy, and independent children. Since 1998 we have focused our attention on those who could be experiencing challenges in their lives, empowering families through confident parenting and cooperative relationships with schools and other services, building stronger, more resilient communities.
Headway in Bedford was founded in 1984 as a brain injury support group and then set up its first service centre and base in 1990.
They provide a supportive and stimulating environment for people who have an acquired brain injury. We recognise that each person is different and no two injuries are the same and for this reason our services reflect this, focusing on the needs of the individual.
